When running a business, working from home, studying for university you realise how little spare time you sometimes have. In the world where we are constantly busy your health and fitness can sometimes be neglected which will have negative consequences further down the line.
While I do love going to the gym after work you don’t necessarily need to set up a gym membership as simple walks can help improve your fitness and health. Going for a walk during lunch break to get away from the office or during the evening is a good way to burn calories but also get your mind away from the rat race. Sometimes I have found when facing a difficult task and I am struggling to find a solution or trying to write a report I have found going for a walk has led me to that “Eureka” moment.
No matter what your sport or activity always give yourself time to look after your body and learn to get away to avoid burnouts. I know taking time out by going to the gym or a hike at the weekends has helped with my sanity with the challenges in bootstrapping.
